Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Kardu, you agree to these terms of service. If you use Kardu on behalf of a company, you accept these terms on behalf of that company.

2. Description of service

Kardu is a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform that helps European companies manage their security program. Kardu does not certify or guarantee regulatory compliance. The final conformity judgement belongs to the external auditor or competent authority.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at contact@kardu.eu.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kardu to:

• ·Violate applicable laws or regulations.
• ·Upload malicious, fraudulent content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• ·Attempt to access data from other organisations.
• ·Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.

5. Intellectual property

Kardu and all its content, features and functionality are the property of Kardu and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The data you enter into the platform is and remains your property.

6. Plans and billing

Plan pricing is available at kardu.eu/pricing. All prices are expressed in euros and exclude applicable VAT. You can cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the billed period.

7. Limitation of liability

Kardu is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event shall Kardu be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

8. Changes to the terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance if the changes are significant. Continued use of the service after the new terms take effect implies acceptance.
