1. Our stance on cookies
Kardu uses the minimum number of cookies possible. We do not install advertising or retargeting cookies. We use strictly necessary technical cookies for the site to work and, only if you give us your consent, an analytics tool (PostHog) hosted in the European Union. On the website we use it to understand in aggregate how the site is used; in the app, events are linked to a pseudonymous user ID, never to your name or email.
2. Cookies we use
These are the only cookies present on kardu.eu:

3. What we do not do

- ✓We do not link analytics to your name or email, nor build profiles for advertising purposes.
- ✓We do not use fingerprinting or equivalent cookieless tracking techniques.
4. Consent
Technical cookies (session, locale, kardu_consent) are strictly necessary and exempt from consent under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Analytics (PostHog) is not activated until you explicitly accept it in the notice shown on your first visit. If you reject it —or make no choice— no analytics script is loaded and no ph_* cookie is installed. Your choice is stored in the kardu_consent cookie, shared by kardu.eu and app.kardu.eu: accepting on one enables analytics on both, and rejecting on either disables it on both.

6. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking technical cookies may affect the functioning of the platform, such as keeping you logged in.
